Background and Credentials
Dr. Robert Scholl is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who joined Atlantic Psychiatric Center in 2022. He completed his psychiatry residency training at the University of Florida, where he also served as the Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. During his training, Dr. Scholl received several awards, including the Ross A. McElroy Psychotherapy Award, recognizing excellence in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Dr. Scholl is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and trusting relationship with his patients. His primary goal is to alleviate the suffering that many individuals with mental health challenges face. He tailors his treatment approach to each unique individual's specific needs, incorporating a combination of therapy, medication management, and holistic strategies to promote overall well-being.
With a keen interest in a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, Dr. Scholl specializes in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic illnesses, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and personality disorders. He works with patients in inpatient, outpatient, and consultation liaisons settings.
Certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Dr. Scholl can administer this treatment for patients who suffer from depression and do not find relief from medications and/or other therapies.
